Social and Program Chairman
Mr. Tony Tate is a seasoned businessman and entrepreneur with more than 43 years of experience across multiple industries. His present undertakings encompass the roles of Chief Executive Officer of an entertainment company, as well as a private security firm, along with an automotive broker dealership, and a vintage car restoration business.
He is affectionately known as “Tony the Car Guy,” who holds numerous automotive technical relishings; sales, finance, and assurance certifications, along with extensive industry-specific training and licensure. Beyond his acumen and experience, Tony is a strong advocate for Civic Engagement.
Tony has served over seven years on the Concerned African American Parents (CAAP) Board for the Long Beach Unified School District, including two terms as Board Chair, and Social and Program Chair of 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc. He is a devoted husband and father and was honored as the 2020 Father of the Year by the Long Beach Branch NAACP. His children include a son emerging as a leader in the entertainment business and a daughter who is a world-class trumpeter and entertainer. Outside of work, Mr. Tate is a passionate connoisseur of fine food paired with live music.
