  • If you are interested in becoming a member of 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc., you should contact a member to pursue the process, or you can submit your interest at: info@(whatever URL we choose)

  • Complete a Membership Intake Form – Upon submission, this form will be forwarded directly to the Membership Action Committee (MAC). A MAC representative will contact the candidate to discuss process.

  • Candidates will receive a letter of invitation from MAC, which will include the chapter’s mission, vision, and pertinent facts about the culture/DNA of the organization, as well as, next steps, in tandem with a Google invitation for membership consideration.

  • The Princess and Compliance Candidates should begin the process of compiling and organizing documents and reviewing the applicant checklist.

    Candidates MUST submit and complete the following process:

    • A Live Scan (DOJ and FBI) via Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) only. This process will also a TB Test and VIPS application completed as part of LBUSD’s protocol;

    • A completed Membership Agreement;

    • A bio (1/2 – 1 1/2 page (s);

    • CV/Résumé

    • A money order/cashier’s check  payable to 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc. or Zelle payment to 100blackmenoflongbeach@gmail.com

    • Attend one mentoring session during the month the candidates application is submitted; .memorization of the Mission/Vision Statement of 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc.

In  an effort to strengthen long-term engagement, build sustainable support, and honor those committed to the mission of 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc., we propose the establishment of two Lifetime Membership tiers. The Platinum Lifetime Membership, set at $25,000.00, The Gold Lifetime Membership set at $15,000.00, and Lifetime Membership set at $4,000.00.

  • Members, who are pursuant of Platinum Lifetime Membership, which serves as the organization’s highest individual membership honor, would receive the following:

    1. 2 partially funded conferences (eligible for transferring) and an allowance not to exceed $1,250 per conference;

    2. A scholarship given in his name with an appended narrative on an annual basis

    3. A custom-engraved writing pen;

    4. A distinctive, organizational blazer;

    5. A personalized plaque with Lifetime Membership Number/Year Joined.

  • Members, who are pursuant of Gold Lifetime Membership, receive the honor of great distinction and are entitled to the following:

    1. 1 partially funded conference (eligible for transferring), not to exceed $1,000 per conference;

    2. A scholarship given in his name with an appended narrative on an annual basis;

    3. A custom-engraved writing pen;

    4. A distinctive, organizational blazer;

    5. A personalized plaque with Lifetime Membership Number/Year Joined.

  • Members, who are pursuant of Silver Lifetime Membership, illustrate ongoing support and dedication to the organization, yet may not possess readiness for the Platinum/Gold Lifetime Membership bestowment. Members pursuant of this level possess clearly understanding that this membership is only good for a sum of 10 years.  This membership level expires at 10-years of the anniversary of which said member joined. Said member may pursue Platinum/Gold by paying the difference of the leveled amounts. Members at this level would receive the following:

    1. A one-time sponsored registration and room and board to be refunded upon receipts given for any conference sponsored by 100 Black Men of America;

    2. An custom-engraved writing pen;

    3. An organizational blazer;

    4. An engraved plaque with membership number/year joined

All tiers are offered considering members symbolizing their lasting partnership and investment in the mission and vision of 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc. 

Regardless of tier, members are expected to pay the National annual per membership rate. The current rate is $55 per person. As the rate changes, so will the member-share fee.  The structure of the amount to be paid out is based on a 15-year minimum commitment, especially for the Lifetime Membership summing $4,000 since the annualized dues amount is $400.00.
