Secretary and Interim Education Chairman

Kenneth Duckworth is a polished, pragmatic educator with extensive counseling experience across high school, community college, vocational, and four-year university settings. He currently serves as Lead Counselor for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UCLA, where his work focuses on ensuring students have access to local resources positioning them for academic and professional success.

Mr. Duckworth is deeply committed to holistic development and is a strong advocate for both physical and mental wellness. Mr. Duckworth maintains an active lifestyle through regular mountain biking and watersports, practices that support balance,  offer discipline, and encourage resilience. 

Mr. Duckworth is also a photography enthusiast, which further complements his pursuit of well-being, connecting him to cultural events, social spaces, and the restorative elements of nature. As a father of two young boys and a respected community leader, Mr. Duckworth is dedicated to guiding youth to recognize “decision time” and make thoughtful choices that prepare them for their future selves. This is further seen in his present role as Secretary and Interim Education Chairman with 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc.
