Ahmed Saafir’s growth and training was engineered at California State University, Long Beach. As a civic participant, he has served as Past President of 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc. and was most recently given the award and appointment of President Emeritus wherein he has demonstrated  his deep commitment to mentorship, advocacy, leadership development, and community empowerment.  He also  previously  served as President of the NAACP–Long Beach Chapter leading key advocacy efforts across the city in addition to his civic leadership.  He is an equally respected local businessman with strong roots in the Long Beach community, as well as, the President of the Long Beach Community Improvement League, Inc.
